  1. Ricardo Clark will probably be one of the better players in Tippeligaen. For the record: We still have nightmares about the loss against Dnepr. An embarrasing moment in recent club history. I guess so, sucks to be beaten only by the away goal rule. Nonetheless Eintracht Frankfurt managed to collect only 8 points in 17 games last season after 26 points in the first 17 games of the season. So we managed getting sent to 2nd Bundesliga in the end even though we were 7th place after 17 games. Now that hurts Clark was one of the few players fighting even though being thrown into cold water and playing mainly as centre back which is not his main position. Still his performance was ok and I really hope that he will rock the Tippeligaen with Stabaek now Btw that game tomorrow vs Kongsvinger is another test?
  2. I live in the Czech Republic at the moment and it is probably difficult to compare the strength of the Czech League to others because of the Prague clubs (esp. Sparta). They can afford to pay reasonable salaries which other clubs have difficulties to do. The other teams loose their good players pretty fast to international or the Prague clubs. Guess this pushes the League Coefficient to some degree even though the average quality of the games is not that good. One of the players who was signed for Eintracht Frankfurt lately and who did not manage to assert himself was Leonard Kweuke who has a good record at Sparta Praha, though. So I am really curious how well Ricardo Clark will do in the Tippeligaen, I rate him to be overall an even better player then Kweuke. Just learned that my favourite Czech club Banik Ostrava almost played EL-Q 3rd vs Stabaek in 2010, but Dnepr Mogilev won in 2nd round and later vs Banik. The world is small
  3. Hm, dunno what players you still need for your team, but an advantage is that most transfer windows are already locked so loan deals like Clark could be a good and cheap way to go. In many cases the other clubs might even pay some of the players salary. Here at Eintracht Frankfurt two players are still to be lent or sold as I get it: Our offensive midfielder Caio and our central defender Habib Bellaid Caio has an excellent shot and football skills and was the most expensive transfer in history of Eintracht Frankfurt. Unfortunately he has some problems with tactical discipline, but in a league where he could apply his individual skills he could be a real weapon. Since I am just a fan and not involved with the officials I have no clue how much players earn and if Eintracht would pay some of the players salary if lent, but since we have a new team manager and are about to return to 1.Bundesliga there has been kind of revamp of the team and players were transfered incredible (you could argue way too cheap) cheaply. Even though they did not manage to make it into our squad they are/have been quality players. Personally I was really shocked when was transfered just for 350k (and now rocks the turkish league) or Tzavellas lent out or sold for a few bucks. So just throwing in the names just in case your team would need cheap but quite skilled players, even though it hurts to see how much we payed for those players when we signed them...
